How to Select a Good Landscaper

There are a lot of people and companies that provide lawn care services. You can get someone that has a push lawnmower in the back of the trunk to cut your grass. Of course, you get what you pay for like in most cases. You should not trust anyone to one of your most valuable assets. To find a reputable lawn care provider, ask the following questions:

  1. How long have you been in business?
  2. Do you have any references?
  3. Do you have liability insurance?
  4. Are you licensed in the state?

The first question about the length of time in business says a good deal about the company. If a company has in been in business for a number of years, it speaks to the type of service offered. Lousy service results in a lack of customers and a lack of customers means little sales, which means no money to keep the business afloat.

Question two about references is what others are saying about the company. Testimonials on the company’s website are sufficient to see what others are saying about a company and why they like doing business with them.

Liability insurance should be common amongst landscape companies. This protects you as a homeowner or business owner. In the event a worker hits a window with a rock, the cost of the damage is against the landscaping company’s insurance company.

The first step in any business is to register your business with the state. Would you frequent a restaurant with no food permit? Well, why would you select a company to be on your property with your loved ones and prized possessions without a license to do so?

You can ask Freeman’s Lawn Care those questions and find favorable answers and great service too!
